Caio Mayrinck finished 3rd on Stage #01-H of event and got a big bang
The penultimate day of WCOOP 2023 brought important championships and prizes to Brazilian poker, especially in the famous “Phase” tournament. Highlights include Caio Mayrinck and Iago Botelho shining in the Event #01 edition.
First up is Caio Mayrinck, known as “sombra97”, in Event #91-H: $109 NLHE Stage, who had a stellar performance at the Brazilian Poker event, finishing third out of 10,629 participants. The result earned him a whopping$68,621.
In the mid-tier version, with a buy-in of $22, it was player Iago Botelho from the Never Standard team who left the tournament with a massive field of 28,043 entrants. “stek94” (Jago is known as “stek94” at the poker tables) won a whopping $65,018. “mohsalah11” finished in third place with $35,931.
Finally, Brazil’s “Pierrevanidonk” had a strong showing in Event #102-M: $109 NLH PKO Series Saver with 7,641 entries. He finished fourth and took home $25,324.
