On Wednesday, there was a new update to the online poker rankings. The list compiled by the Poker Stake website (formerly PocketFives) contains good news for Brazilian poker. Denis Ramos is back in the top 10, and Brazil now has two players in the top 10 again.

Denis Ramos jumped from 12th to 9th place, leaving behind the likes of Arseny Malinov, Leonard Moir and Anatoly Filatov Behind him. The pro appears in the standings with 7,486 points, just ahead of Malinov, who is currently ranked 10th, and very close to Luis Faria in eighth (7,506 points).

Another Brazilian on the list is Pedro Padilha. The samba partners have maintained a fairly steady pace in recent weeks, remaining in fifth place in the rankings. Padilla has 8,017 points. Among them, Brazilian Alex Shepel ranked sixth with 7,993 points, and Simon Mattsson ranked seventh with 7,978 points.

The top spot remains unchanged. Austrian Roman Hrabek remains on top with 10,592 points. He is followed by Ramiro Petrone with 10,396 points. Frenchman Thomas Santerne is third with 9,146 points. In fourth place is the legendary Niklas Astedt with 8,393 points.
